Hi everyone,

Please check out Pt. 1 and 2 if you haven't already . I am the effective stack at $400+ and am actively trying to my deepstack skills.

Hero- UTG ($400) Teenager who plays and studies in most of his free time. Aspiring Pro, respected by regs. Haven't won a pot in a while. Picked up a few small, middling pairs but haven't won.

7-handed. Every had is now straddled, as you can straddle from anywhere. Table is mostly winning regs, coming in from the big ($500 min buyin) game which broke. Late night. Button is a bad LAG ($1k+). SB is good TAG ($600). BB is a good TAG ($600)

OTTH. Button Straddles. SB flats. BB flats. I flat with 33s. Folds to Button who makes it $26. SB flats. BB flats. SB and BB are relatively wide here, as they understand we're deep and the $26 is worth the opportunity to stack Button. In real time, I was considering all options. I was considering a fold because of the RIO of set over set, squeezing because of my current image, and flatting because I'm getting well over the right IO to call the extra $20 here. I decide to flat.

($100) Flop Q77r. Checks through. I'm assuming Button has a lot of A-high.

($100) Turn 3. SB checks. BB bets $35. I raise to $135. Is this a flat? Or a different raise size?

Also, I know some of you may recommend I find a better game but the closest 18+ casino is over 5 hours away and I don't feel comfortable playing in big home games with strangers, which are predominant here.

I wouldn’t mind staying wider and looking like a Q to a 7x. Not concerned about letting 2 outers stay in either. If you call and get HU, just size down good rivers to check or shove over a bet.

Doesn't sound like the greatest game? Do you have to be here this late?

I fold preflop. The only two players in the pot so far are good players. They could easily be limping monsters to entice the laggy Button. And even if we see a limped pot, how awesome are you going to feel getting in decent stacks postflop against the two good blinds with your set? Plus laggy Button is often going to raise cuz that's likely what he does, so we're not going to see a cheap flop here.

And I fold the second time round mostly due to RIO reasons. At least in a limped sky high SPR pot we can play our set of 3s cautiously postflop against the good players. But here the SPR is going to be lol ~4, which means we'll have to stack off every time with our set. Good luck showing up with the best hand if any of the good blinds are willing to play for stacks with their speculative hands.

I also check the flop.

If we flat the turn, the pot will be $170 and we'll have $339 left. Board is bone dry and we're up against someone we consider good. He'll likely be able to fold mediocre hands here to a bet. He may still be able to go broke if he has a 7x in his hand by the river since we'll be in position and be able to shove over his bet. Plus we're cool with bringing along anyone else. I lean to flatting and shoving over his river bet.

I’m flatting the turn, hoping Button comes along and then raising BBs bet on non Q or 7 rivers.
