1/3 game.

Effective stack is about 400.

I’ve only seen the main V about an hour or so. Younger kid. Has headphones in generally seems weak/tight

I did pay off a 10 dollar river bet into a 75 dollar pot with 1010 on AQQxx when he had AQ and it checked to river

OTTH: I open UTG 5 handed with 9c8c to 13 and everyone calls including V in the BB

(65) Flop 9s 8d 2c
V leads 35 I just flat with plans to raise a lot of turns if he bets again? (Does this seem reasonable)I didn’t know if I should raise flop. Next to act calls others fold

(170)Turn Qd ugh.. obvious draw gets there he bets 35 again we call…. Next player calls

(285)River Ks bb bets 50 we sigh call Next to act calls

Raise the flop. Two pair isn't for slow playing.

Definitely raising the flop. This board is too draw-y, especially four-ways -- and they rarely put you on 89 (or they shouldn't).

Raise the turn. As played, fine, but it might be a fold now, because a lot of bigger two pair beat you.

Open bigger pre and I'd just fold this hand, start opening it from CO. I don't think it's crazy by any means to open this hand from HJ for big size, it's just a bit loose for me.

Raise flop. The problem with your plan of raising a lot of turns is that we don't really like seeing T+, a 7, or a 2.

As played I think turn and river are fine.

I almost never play this shorthanded, so I'm probably off on what we should be doing at various positions. But at loose tables all that matters is whether we're going to end up OOP, and we just are at this table given the preflop action. So I'm not raising to create a bloated pot OOP if we have no FE. If we must play, I'd just limp in. Folding is probably nitty this short, although it would depend on how good/bad we consider the other players.

With an SPR of 6 and top two pair, you can argue we've simply committed ourselves (for better or worse due to preflop). The problem with top two pair here on this board is that he can't have any worse two pair, nor is it likely that this weak/passive guy is playing a draw this way. Could he ever have an overpair in this spot? I actually don't mind just a call and see what happens. ETA: But I don't mind the other suggestions of just raising now and basically committing (which preflop may have have setup). ETA#2: The more this guy can have TT+ and won't fold, the more I'd be super on board with this idea.

Sucky turn card as guy behind us could have easily gotten there. But for this price I can't fold yet, so I call again and see what happens.

Man, for this price I can't hate on a crying call on the river. Although with his history in the fullhouse hand of betting lol 1/7th of the pot it does seem we're just getting milked. The thing that is gross is that all his overpairs mostly setted up or he would have likely slowed down with JJ/TT. And would he ever just flat AA after all the callers?

Im raising the flop with that many players in the hand. As played I think you have to just call/call given the price. You’re probably gonna be beat a good bit but you’re getting over 6 to 1 on both streets and I can’t imagine that 89 isn’t good Atleast 1 out of 7 times.
