V ($350, MP): Very tight, regular guy, doesn't get involved in pots with me, capable of stealing when Hero shows weakness. Also, V is capable of folding to multiple barrels.

2 limps, Hero raises to $20 with AsQd, V calls, 2 others calls

Flop ($80): 249sss
Check, Check, Hero checks, V bets $60, fold, fold, Hero ??? (Hero covers)

I think V's most likely range is QQ-44/AK/AQ in this spot

Should I have just led the flop? If so, for how much?

You can c-bet this flop but 4 way I'm not going every time. Will villain bet the turn or is he likely to check get cautious and try to check it down after the flop bet? If villain will likely check turn then calling is fine. You should have a lot of outs because aces and queens are probably outs also.

Both the flop c-bet and calling the villain's bets are situations where you want to bet/call some of the time and fold some of the time. Getting involved all the time would make you too chase/bluff happy but folding all the time is too weak/tight.

Also, raising flop here some of the time is good against certain villains. If villain is likely to try and steal with air and have to give up to a raise a lot then raising and getting it in if villain shoves is a good move to pull occasionally.

With two check already, I probably would have led this flop. I call now, but a raise looks fun, too, if you think he is stealing. You likely have quite a few outs.

Lead flop $50- $60. And it is not even close. You have 2 overs and nut draw. Plus flop doesn't hit any ranges very hard.

Lead flop for $60, we have a ton of equity and can get a ton of pocket pairs to fold.

As played, c/r to $150 and shove all turns. If we get called on the flop we set ourselves up for a PSB that he'll have a hard time calling. Even if he wakes up with a set we aren't that far behind.

He probably just has an overpair. I'm making it $175 and shoving all turns if called. If he calls any flop raise the money is going in.

I like a lead here, but vs described villain
I think its possible for him to raise us off our hand w his image..
I like a c/r to 200
He looks weak stealing here and if we lead 2nd IP we look fos

Depending on how much opponents tend to raise, I like a c-bet on the flop. You get to set the bet size so that you don't get overcharged to draw, have a chance to pick up a decent sized pot right there with just ace high, and you build a pot for when you do hit on a later street. Plus, you have a chance to "buy the button" from the player left to act behind you.

If they check raise a lot, I like a check so that you have a better chance to catch up if you're behind.

Thanks guys. So if we bet $50 otf and V called, are we barreling blank turns? What if V raises our flop cbet?
