Hey guys, deep into a session and I'm not sure whether I butchered this or not...
About 3am Sunday Morning. V was in EP and was fairly drunk. H is in the BB and is probably too tired to be playing - that coupled with running terribly for about 5 hours has results in me playing like crap ... Lesson learnt.
$1/$3.
V announces that he is playing blind and raises to $12. I didn't actually see him
not look at his cards but I believed him for the most part. two calls in later position and H calls from the BB with 5
3
, playing about $220 deep. Drunk V has a big stack and covers.
Flop: A
9
8
($49)
H checks, V bets $17, both LP Vs call, H raises to $50, "blind" V calls, LP Vs both fold.
Turn: 5
($183)
H checks, V checks
River: 2
H checks, V checks.
I really didn't want to get owned in this hand by a V who had actually just looked ... not very proud of that line of thinking. Also didn't want to be called by a V who looked at the river and called with some random BS not believing me. My plan was to check and evaluate river.
Thoughts?
