Hero - just sat down no image yet $300 stack

Hand 1:

Villain in hand is a 30+ yr old semi tight bad reg , played wit him twice,

EP raises to 10, 1 more caller, Hero ($300) calls in LP with JTo , BB calls

4 way to flop of: Ts 8c 5d

Checks to Hero in LP bets 20, Villain ($500) in BB calls rest fold

Turn: Js

Hero bets 25, villain raises to 75, hero calls

River: 4h

Villain jams, Hero?

Hand 2:

Hero $500 in SB Jh5h (i know its fold pre but it was like 6 way, cant say no for the odds)

Villain in hand is fairly snug asian player, hasnt really been out of line and hasn't played alot of hands

limped pot, 6 way

Flop: Qd Js 6c

Checks around

Turn: Jc

Hero bets 20 villain ($400) in LP calls

River: 5d

Hero bets 60, villain raises to 140, hero calls... scared of bigger boat?

Fold pre, AP I think river is rather close. Against this line and a rather tight reg I would probably fold here, even though it seems nitty. I don't see him c/r and then donkjam lower TP here and all the 67s, 97s and even sometimes offsuite hands are in his range, as well as the occasional set.

H2:

Say no to the odds and fold pre

AP I get all the money in here. V, being in LP, would surely raise QQ pre, most likely raise QJs/o pre and even when not, surely bet the flop.

Preflop is meh. But I won't hate too much since we're on the Button and price is cheap and we'll have a lotta room to move postflop. I'm guessing crushers can likely always call here, whereas everyone else would likely be better off just passing.

I'm fine with our smallish 1/2 PSB flop bet.

I would actually lean to checking this turn behind. There's no flush draw to charge and one of the main draws (97) got there. If he has just one pair he's probably drawing ~dead and will likely fold now that there is at least one over to that pair on board. We also really hate getting check/raised here cuz we'll probably have to fold our fullhouse equity (where we can likely stack 97). As played, the call of the check/raise is very meh.

I doubt I get to the river but I fold to the jam. I'd need some pretty serious reads that this guy could overvalue a worse junky two pair when there's an obvious straight on board (very few opponents do).

I fold preflop. The immediate odds we are getting preflop in NL are a mirage; they mean almost nothing. What means a lot more is the fact that we'll be OOP with a hand that is highly unlikely to make any hand that is going to be good if lots of chips go in.

I also check (to fold) this flop.

If I'm betting this turn (I think there is an argument for check/evaluating who does what) then I'm sure as not PSB+ing it. No more than a 1/2 PSB for me.

Next time post pot size on each street. On the river the pot is about $58. We now beat most Jx hands, and there's a very good chance we're up against Jx. So I'd also lean to biggish on the river.

When a snug player who hasn't gotten out-of-line raises a PSB on the river, he has a boat (he does not have AJ, seriously, he simply does not). The question is whether his boat is big than ours. The only boat we beat is 66. But QQ is unlikely due to his preflop overlimp. I'm too lazy to do combos, but at this point the decision is between calling and folding (not calling and raising). Without doing combo counting, my guess is that it's a sigh crying call.
