Hello all,

your thoughts on the following please:

Ive been at table and played with Vs for 2 hours.

Hero: $220 (UTG+2)
v1: $50ish (LJ)
v2:$300 (HJ)

2 limps to me, I raise to $15, v1 calls, v2 asks "how much you got", looks at my stack for a bit, raises to $65. Folds to me.

Descriptions:
v1: irrelevant donk,
v2: Only good player at table. protects his hands with really good bet sizing, nice and big. opens a lot of hands as a raise. His only two minuses I think are that he does play a lot of hands, at least 40%. And he limp-calls oop at times.
Hero image: nit

One relevant hand he isolated a shortstack by 3betting 42s. Only 3bet he made in those two hours. I only saw partially what happened but it appears there was enough dead money for him to think his FE + equity if called by shorty was good enough to make this +EV. He ended up beating AK in a race. After the hand he said "40/60"

My two conflicting thoughts:
- He sees me as a nit so why would he 3bet me in early position with anything other than AA,KK or AK. So Im flipping or dead.
- The size is very big. Maybe he is trying to isolate v1 with who knows what, AQ, AJ, JJ, TT, 99. Expecting me to fold a good portion of my opening hands.
Trouble is if I shove, he'll fold a lot of those and only call better.

Hero? (I want to fold or shove here, I hate calling QQ oop here. But if you'd call please explain why)

Thanks

Villain could be trying to isolate the shortstack.
Villain could be trying to bluff you if he thinks you will fold a lot to 3bets.
Villain is bad at range construction.
You have the 3rd best hand in poker.

I'd ship it in.

Yeah shovel it in. He 3bet a short stack with 32 before appears he is doing something similar.

Option 1 - Ship it in.

Option 2 - If you feel he could be making this play wider 1010+ AJ+ you could always flat and cr flop (riskier but will obtain more value from the wider range that he would fold pre to a shove).

I'd go with option 1 personally.

Given villain's previous observed 3bet, ship away.

Yeah ship it it is. I only remembered that 3bet with 42s 5min after i folded thinking it was his first 3bet ever.

Donk calls and wins with aj on j hi board vs his TT. I suck.

Ship it. For bonus points, tank for a while, then ship it.

I don't always love getting it in pre with QQ. But in this case with these villains and stacks and history... Ship!

I prefer a call, even if we're ahead I think a shove folds out most hands we're beating.
If he's halfway decent and you have a nit image, calling is better.

While this may be true... By not raising we are allowing villain to "draw for free" against us. Are we just auto folding all A and K high boards? Or are we just hoping for our QQ to flop as an overpair and ship it in there?
