This is a hand I just played a couple hours ago at 1/2nl I sat with 200 and had only played for like 15 minutes before this hand came up so not any good info on any players
PREFLOP: A8clubs utg and open limp (yes I know most of you will say first mistake) everyone calls and the older(villain) middle easterner-stack275 in the hijack raises 12
Btn sb call bb allin18 calls around
Pot-90Flop A36r
I Check hj25 btn sb call I call
Side-100Turn 9 he shoves all in has my 200 covered fold to me I snap call pretty loudly and clearly but somehow dealer distracted doesn't hear me and then I tank go back over action and think he has me out kicked and fold he shows Down kk fml!!!!!!
PS. First post I know it's rough but theyll get better

Fold everything and read HH format sticky before ever posting again.

Don't be mean. Welcome to the forums.

Lesson 1. Position is more powerful than cards.

i hate limping UTG. i would like to see a raise or a fold.

i cant really comment on other streets bc you explained the hand poorly. space things out more and make the actions more clear.

Play an interesting hand. Stand up and walk to the corner. Make a voice memo on yur phone. Reccord everything you can remember: stacks, player descriptions, stacks, board, bets, etc.

You'd be shocked how much the details change in your mind even before you get home.

Dear God reading that post was a painful experience. I second reading the sticky. Fold pre, fold flop, fold turn.

I like Axs in limped multiway pots... People play all sooted crap and over flushing someone has so much value imo

Exactly so I probably should have folded flop unless fd came out but the Ace and the odds(+backdoor)) kept me in there. In retrospect that would have been a bad call ott but the original snap-call was induced by the read I was getting, he was coming off as he didnt believe I had anything but a possible draw and I felt like he was just pushing 2 high cards or a pp.... Now as I'm typing this I think the turn actually checked through and thats where I sensed his weakness and the shove came on a blank river... Told you my memory sucked, I will be using the voice recording suggestion next session because I tried just using the notes app in my phone and it was too tedious, I think I need to get good at typing out hands in a decent format first before I can use the app

once you said call you should have stopped the dealer and told them you said call. pretty scummy to do so

read most of the 1000's of threads in this forum and you will see correct way to post hands. if you can't remember hands how are you going to remember how a player plays?
