I don't see how you can get away from this hand unless you know your V very well.
However, I don't understand the shove OTF. Who is going to call you that doesn't have you beat?
You'll get a snap-call with hands that beat you.
Is V really that bad that he'd call your all-in with KJ, QJ, JT or AK, AQ, AJ?
I think most players would call a 3/4 pot size bet with all of those hands.
He would have to believe you're the type of player to shove OTF with A
J
to call with AK, AQ, AJ.
I would think you would have a better chance of him donating [getting the wrong price] post-flop with a more structured betting size.
I think you could end up getting him all-in by the River vs. his KJ, and maybe even QJ, etc.
The goal is not to win
this pot, but to win the most money possible over the long-term.
