Hand #1. First hand of the session. Villain is a complete unknown. $200 effective.

OTTH

Villain limps UTG, tight passive in MP limps, CO limps and hero OTB flats T 7 and both blinds complete.

Flop ($12): 8 4 2. It's checked to villain who bets $6 and only hero calls.

Turn ($24): J. Villain goes $10 and hero calls.

River ($44): Q. Villain checks and hero bets $35.


2. Five hours into session. Villain 1 is loose passive and villain 2 is a LAG fish. $300 effective with both.

OTTH

Villain 1 opens $7 UTG +2, villain 2 in HJ calls, hero OTB with 8 7 and BB NIT calls.

Flop ($29): J 7 3. BB checks, villain 1 goes $12, villain 2 calls, hero calls and BB folds.

Turn ($65): 2. Villain 1 bets $20 and both villain 2 and hero call.

River ($125): A. Villain 1 checks, villain 2 checks, and hero bets $85.


What are your thoughts on the two bluffs?

V info on hand one? I know you say he's unknown, but age, dress, ethnicity, etc. can at least offer clues. Generally, I'd raise turn instead of betting river. You're line looks a lot like what it is, a missed FD. The good news is that the two overcards from the flop are both ones your FDs could have hit.

Hand two is spew, imo. The Vs aren;t the type to fold Jx+ often, and you beat everything that would fold. I know it's a nice scare card, but bad Vs to try it on.

Hand one villain is white, 40ish, dressed casually, and was smoking pot in the parking lot before we started.

Hand two I thought might be spew/too ambitious. I was just thinking neither has too much money in the pot, no one's showing too much interest and it's checked to me. I digress, probably the two worst villains at the table to bluff.
