Villian is a guy I've seen around but have never played with before. He seems to know everyone at the table. Effective stacks $140. He hadn't sat at the table for long before this hand came up so I don't have a good sense of how he plays.

Hero is late position w/ Q:10. One limper, hero raise to 8, SB reraise to $15, hero calls

Flop ($46): 10 6 2

Villian bets $10.

Curious what people's opinion of the line is here and why

Open to at least $10 pre. Flop sizing is annoying, but there's literally no reason to do anything besides flat. What do you think raising accomplishes?

This. Keep both ranges wide.

Obvious flat is obvious.

I can't find a hand that will call a raise except ones that you beat. And you will never get a better hand to fold.

Call the flop bet 100% of the time and see a turn.

Normally i would fold pre to any 3bet with QTs-here his mini raise is so weak calling is optional -have to call flop

Call as played. If you raised and he 3b a dry board you would have to surrender your equity.

Open higher, $14 or so, fold to a short stack 3b.

I raise more pre, too, but if it's the norm and you get only one opponent (even if it is a 3bet), I can get behind the small raise. Flat pre is OK since it's so small, but if he had 3bet much bigger, I probably just fold.

Flop is definitely a flat.
