Hand 1:

Hero - TAG, not doing so well this session. Lost an ai pf when my KK ran into AA have since re-bought. Stack about $300

Villain - Middle aged Asian. Monster stack and hitting everything, sitting to my right. Seems to play well at times, but definitely has leaks, think he's a dealer at a nearby casino. Stack ~$1600

otth

Hero get's dealt 22 in mp. Two early players limp, villain limps, hero limps, button makes it $8 everybody calls, except the blinds.

Flop 8-6-2 rainbow ($43)

Both ep players check, villain bets out $25, I raise to $75, everyone except villain folds.

Turn: 8-6-2-3 ($193)

Villain shoves all-in.

Hero?

Hand 2:

Different game, hero - TAG up a little this session. Stack ~$350

Villain - Aggro fish, obese 50+ white guy. Seen some of the worst plays from this guy and his personality and vibe ruin the table, basically a total asshat. Berates players, thinks he's the best, gives you dirty looks when you raise after he limps. Was contemplating a table change the minute he sat down. Some of the bad plays. Called 150 BB all-in vs tight player with AQo, cracked AA won with broadway. Called a $125 river bet with third pair on draw heavy board. Also seated to my right. Stack ~$250

Hero - QQ in UTG+2

Villain limps utg, hero makes it $12, button calls, villain calls, everyone else folds.

Flop: Q-8-3 rainbow. ($39)

Villain checks, hero bets $30, button calls, villain calls.

Turn: Q-8-3-9 (129$)

Villain bets out $100.

Hero?

I don't think folding is an option but villain is ****ty enough to call the flop bet with a gut-shot and my instincts say he just hit.

Fold hand 1. Bet/call/donk ship is a pretty nutted line and between the action pre and villain description I am discounting the possibility that he's spewing with tens or something.

Shove hand 2. Play his range, not your gut. I recognize that the history is him making bad calls rather than bets or raises but I'm never folding top set against this villain.

H#1 is tough (assuming villain couldn't backdoor an 8x FD & play it aggressively), as 54/88/66/33 dominates alot of his range. I guess a small # of 99/A8/86s/63s could play this way & might justify a call, but idk, calling feels break evenish, but with a set for only 150BB I think it's a break even (or marginally +EV) spot to take.

H#2 vs an aggro fish I have very few concerns. Just call down if u think he won't bet/call off on the turn, or shove now if he can't fold stuff like T9/J9, etc. I'd shove if he's a fish & not a thinking LAG.

I never fold either. Way too many two pair combos on both boards that we crush.

H1 I guess call, but expect to lose the majority of the time. He has all the 54s combos and maybe some 54o also if he's loose pre, as that was a double gutter on the flop. Also has all the 88 and 66 combos, and we basically only beat 86 because other flopped two pairs aren't taking this line.

H2 jam AINEC.
