As you described v, this is an easy call. His range is atc. Odds are he doesn't hold two diamonds, could be two pair or ak kq kj hell even qj with 1 diamond if he's that wild.

Thanks. I called. He got the flush. But yea my thoughts were the same that he does that with a ton of hands. Every hit + As in diamonds , all his sets ...

1. Must 3bet him pre. You know he's blind raising, stick in a l/r here.

2. No reason not to bet bigger OTF. I'd go full pot.

3. Turn check behind and see a river. Our hand just went from great to middling bluffcatcher. Let's get to SD cheaply.

4. Once he shoves OTT after looking, just fold. Don't fall into the he's a maniac I haz a set trap. A 2x pot raise should nearly always be a fold without the stone cold nuts. He's offering 1.5-1 odds.

Edit: And remember, even maniacs and idiots make hands sometimes.

Edit edit: Just because he plays loosy goosey pre doesn't mean he's going to do the same post when he's putting lots of money in.

Agree with all, but especially this statement.

OP, how many times had you seen the Villain shove post-flop and then turn over air? That's the history that's relevant to whether you should call.

Whether he raised one out of ten times pre-flop or ten out of ten times isn't relevant.

So basically I shouldnt make much conclusions from preflop to post flop. He stacked off 2 times postflop prior that , with gut shot+pair and other time with 2pair. But he called in both cases. So basically at such big shove it's better to fold because there are not enough relevant postflop informations to call in such a sppot?

Folding is absurd.

Folding is so incredibly wrong here. We're going to assume that all of a sudden a guy who is willing to light money on fire preflop and on the flop is suddenly playing "normal" because a turn card is out and nobody has seen what he does in similar spots? Rubbish. Just knowing that this guy is terrible is enough that I'm assuming he does this with the bare A of diamonds, combos with 9, 10, J, Q, A of diamonds, and two pair/sets. Of course he's going to do it with flushes and higher sets also, but we crush an idiot's range here. He didn't even know his hand until now.
