Hero: has been running good lately, doubled up a few hands. $1100

V(button): covers hero. Playing passive so far. c/c all 3 streets including a shove on river with Kx on KKKAx board a few hands ago.

Hero is dealt TT at MP. The table has a bunch of $100-200 stacks playing fit-or-folds. A couple of limpers to Hero, Hero raises to $16. 4 callers including V.

Flop: 8h6d2h ($80)

Checks to hero who bets $55. I don't think I'm getting called by much worse but betting still has value. V calls and others fold.

Turn: Qc ($190)

Hero checks. V bets $72. At this point I feel really confused. Given his passivity I am probably beat? But I can't really think many hands beat us here, except slow played sets or Qxhh. Hero decides to call after tanking and planning to call blank rivers.

River: Kh
Pretty easy c/f.

I think the quad K hand doesn't tell much about villain, anyone in their right mind slowplays the Kx on KKK flop..

I'd bet turn as Q is not too often in his range. He can be playing flush draw this way and he can be coming out from hiding with a set now.

The river is check/fold for sure. Don't think betting gets called with worse and don't think after your turn call villain bets anything else but flush here.

whoa whoa whoa, bet size on river? what can he bet both turn and river w? AQhh, QJhh, maybe 97hh, when you tank turn he knows he has to bet bluffs on river. turn bet weirds me out, but I'm looking for sizing tells on river. I also don't mind a river c/r here if feeling frisky sometimes, how can he call?

also, if you haven't lit $500 on fire once in your life, you haven't lived imo

Bet turn ~$115-120 to charge for draws. Only hand that improved is precisely Q8 and set would mostly raise flop. River sucks as it completes a majority of villains range, I'd c/f against such a passive person.

id raise pre to $25 at this table. if i keep getting 4 callers, limping may be better. turn is a bet fold, $110 sounds good

I'm pretty sure $25 is still getting bunch of callers. On the other hand, I'm never limping if I can get $25 from $200 stacks preflop.

Villian's actual hand: (he said)
Spoiler:
Qh6h.

Still c/r river AI, this eliminates the possibility of a soul not being crushed in hand.

Nice preflop call by Vil.
