Hero has been at the table for 2 orbits. Table is on the loose passive side.
Hero has played 3 hands, stacking a short stack with QQ and losing a cpl of medium sized pots with counterfeited 2pair hands from the blinds (no pre flop raise). Not sure Vs are forming table image here.
Average stakes range from 100-300. Hero covers.

OTTH

6 way limped pot. Hero checks option in BB with Jd9d (raising is an option but hand plays well multiway so we get in for minimum investment)

Flop (12)
9h 7s 4s

Sb checks
Hero(BB) checks (leading out is an option but often bloats the pot.Our plan is to c/c a decent size bet($8-15) and then bet on all turns favorable to our range. We will bet all non spade turns if flop checks around. We also plan to c/r a weak bet from late position which is often a cheap stab at the pot.)
3 more checks
Btn bets 6
Sb calls 6
Hero raises to 35 (as per plan for a weak bet. Sb s call oop is often the flush draw)
Btn folds
Sb calls (his range should consist of a bunch of flush draws, 9x, T8, 86 and maybe 7x ,33-66,88 if he puts us on a move with a flush draw/overs)

Turn (88)
9h 7s 4s 9c
Sb checks
Hero bets 35 - charges his draws and gets value from weaker 9x.
Sb calls - expect him to release his under pairs or even a 7 leaving flush draws and 9x in his range.

River (158)
9h 7s 4s 9c Qs
Sb bets 55
Hero?
While the bet is small (weak) we now lose to flushes and better 9s and given that the sb seems like a loose passive rec not sure he's betting small here as a bluff to represent a hand that wants a call.
We only beat weak 9s and some kind of hand where he ends up with a Q.
Raising seems a little ambitious here, calling seems fine given odds 4-1. Anyone find a fold here.

In hindsight play on flop seems FPS.

Flop is a fold

AP you gotta bet more ott, riv is whatever. Fold and call are probably close.

Folding flop seems bad. Even if btn has a 9 it could easily be a worse one.

Raising is bad as well. People don't take "random stabs" at 6-way pots. He'll have something. You're just turning your hand into a bluff and will have no idea what's going on when called.

Bet a bit more on the turn.

As played just call the river, hoping he has a worse 9 or something.
