$1/2 full ring, very loose passive table...only one guy raising pre without premiums. I've been card dead for the past two hours and just foldig. Five limps, I limp in pre with 96dd from sb (normally fold here but wih that many players and them being loose, I limp in).

(Pot:$14)

Flop:3d4d5d

I lead $13 into $14. Asian kid raises to $45 with $100 behind quickly (I plan to reshove against him heads up). Loose guy quickly raises to $120 with $280 behind (I cover him and have roughly $400 behind). I can't flat as I expect him to shove all blank turns so this is a clear shove or fold.

Is my flush big enough to stack off here??? Obviously i have 2 outs to a straight flush. 3rd nut flush or better I stack off for sure and for 100bb I never fold here. Notes on loose guy. He raises a ton of hands pre but also limps in a ton (including ANY two suited cards). He proably plays somewhere between 80/40/4 and 70/30/5. He is a big calling station but definitely is aggro pre and fires lots of cbets

Notes on him: loose guy has a made hand here (two pairs+) 100% of the time with the short stacker in. Loose guy is raising any non nut flush here, and sometimes raising sets, straights and two pairs. Assuming all suited cards are in his range is this a fold?? What's the worst flush we can stack off wih here??

Snap fold.

What do you think their ranges are? Can't see us ever being ahead especially at a passive table

The fact that you hold the 6d is more reason to fold than to call.

If he limps any two suited cards then you should be snap folding because we got a bet by you a raise and a reraise so if they both have a flush which would be really rare you're pretty much dead because odds are one of them have a 7 and or a 2 so your straight flush is gone and if not they have a 8,10,J,Q,K,A of diamonds, thats beating you. Then you only have two outs which is never good!

Sup Shady. - IDK. It's gross, I just fold and wait for a better spot. You've committed 15/400 and only have insane pot equity vs 2pair. I'd see him calling with XdXx more often than cold 3betting and 9 high just seems kinda meh. Close but fold > shove > call. A station quickly raises too, which kinda adds to the fold side.

Assuming that all straights, sets, 2 pairs, and all combos of remaining diamonds are in loose guy's range, then you are 68% to 32% to win against this range, and against him alone, not taking into account what the other player has. If you add a random hand in Pokerstove to account for the other guy (since you don't seem too concerned about him), you are 62% to 31% to 6% to win.

This seems like a clear shove to me, if, in fact, your range for him is absolutely correct. Note, I did not add XdXx to this range since you did not specify it. Also note that most of the equity for the random hand comes from your equity, FWIW.

Oh, also FWIW, I have a hard time believing that his range is really this wide. In game, I probably fold.

I did end up folding btw but i tanked for about 5 min and was very close to shoving. Just wanted to make sure I made the right fold long term

I was in a similar spot last week, I had only invested about $25 and a guy over shoved 350. The fact that you're only in for $15 makes this an easy lay down imo. I thought I was good that hand, just made no sense given the horrible pot odds and better spots available at the table, and I had invested nothing pretty much.

How much u have invested in the pot already is irrelevant. Once the money is in the pot it's no longer yours and you shouldn't treat it like yours. I folded cause there are wayyyyyy more combos of flushes that beat me than that I beat. For me to correctly stack off here he has to have enough straights, sets and two pairs in his range and I wasn't sure if he'd raise a straight or set there with a bet and a raise.

Right. Especially after you called the table passive. Why did you even tank?

checked the odds of villain holding two suited cards in his hand.

Holding two suited cards 10 or better is 32-1.

I think chances are villain is holding two pair and wants to protect (with one of them Ad?).

Also, I've seen loose passive games @ 1/2 that has players that over bet with wet boards so this is a close one.

You'd have to have a pristine read on this villain otherwise I would've called personally.

This only applies if villain does this move with his entire range (protip: he doesn't).

What you want to know is, given that the flop is XYZ and villain has done W in the hand so far, am I ahead enough of the time for calling to be profitable?
