Not a tough spot, V shouldn't have an 8 unless he has T8 or K8, and he has Kxss/busted draws/KT often enough to call. Sometimes you have to pay them off.

^^^^^^
have to agree, dont think there is many 8's in his range unless he boated up.
I think given the bet on the turn there is a good chance he has a Kxss.
Think this is a simple call if he got ya beat so be it but there is enough other hands to make it worth your while to be calling this off

I'd also consider shoving turn for max value FWIW, but it's pretty V-dependent.

not sure about turn check with passive and loose players in the pot.
AP in game i call this close to 100% of the time as all draws missed plus you just overtook KT and 8's make up a portion but not a huge portion of his range.

Great river card, ez call.

Flop - given the field and board, I'd likely make a PSB.

Turn - more likely to B/F or B/C rather than check. KT gets there but we are still 3-way on a drawy board, so I'd lean towards valuing.

Re: 1/2 tough spot with AA 200bb deep

I'd go a little higher on the flop. Not thrilled with the check on turn, but definitely calling the bet from an aggressive player. River is a pretty easy call vs. same player. Actually, check/calling turn and river might be the only way to get this much money out of the hand. Sucks if he had an 8.

You are right that its not a tough spot. Was very tired when i wrote that and think it was also because of the result.
I called pretty quickly thinking that all draws bricked and i beat KT now. I also thought he would raise T8, 88 or 44 otf. He would 3b TT pre. I lose to K8 but thats all i lose to (in my mind)

He had 84o

Don't think we can fold turn over a raise when the combos of draws and Tx/Kx outweighs the likelihood of a set or 2p.

Thatís assuming we give even weight to Tx/Kx/set/2pr when they raise. Especially it being mulitway they are just nutted af when they raise over a good card for our range

When Kxss is basically the nuts and thereís a ton of combo draws Iím not folding. Hard to make a pair, even harder to make two of them, especially on T84K

Re: 1/2 tough spot with AA 200bb deep

Why are we checking the turn? I am never checking the turn, especially against described villains. I would fire the turn for 60. AP I make the crying call on the river, but expect to see a lot of different two pair combinations, missed flush, or a lot of Tx, Kx.

Yeah sure there are a lot of combo draws but people are much more likely to just call down and hit, rather than raise esp when we dbl barrel turn and thereís another player in the hand.

Itís not that hard to have a set/two pair on this board actually, T8s, K10o/K10s, 44/88/1010, K4s, even offsuit hands like T8o and apparently even 84o in this hand
