Long time lurker, first time poster so bear with me please.

1/2 at Parx, I just sat down and this is the first hand I've played, so no real reads on villains. I'm the youngest at the table, two opponents are MAWGs.

$300 effective.

2 limps to me, I make it 17 from CO with AKo (no club)
button, sb, and 1 limper call

Flop ($63) Kc Qc 4x.
sb checks, ep checks, Hero bets $60, button calls $60, sb calls $60, ep folds.

I size up and value bet $60 to charge the maximum to pairs and flush draws.

Turn ($243) Ac
sb checks, Hero checks, button checks.

I assume I should not be value betting here, considering it is very likely that sb / button had a flush draw since they called a large bet on the flop.

River ($243) 7x
sb bets $60

Hero????? What hands would you be putting the sb on for this sizing?

Hard to put either player on clubs considering combos left but they are unknown. I think JT or a set is more likely to have you beat than a flush. Lots of two pair that think they might be good may put out this small blocking bet. I’m calling expecting to be good 40% of the time.

imo I'd bet flop smaller maybe 40-45ish to charge flush/JT and get value from Kx. I think the PSB usually drives away some of the value hands we want to stack

On the turn im torn but I'd prolly b/f 100 to get value from KxJc, KxTc etc, KQ as I would hate to see a 4th club roll out on river

On the river SB sizing is weak, so no flushes really, I doubt JT, more likely Kx thinking they're good. I'd call though with no reads as I don't think SB can call a jam with Kx, and might string along a extra call from btn

why does everybody on here think everyone else has a flush the minute a flush comes in? the fact turn checks through makes me think nobody has a flush, I bet turn and feel pot committed at that point, lots of random Kx Qx worse two pair pair with FD out there. If we are behind we have A A K K to save us.

I ended up calling because of the great price I was getting. If this was a half pot size bet, I'd probably let it go. My main reasoning for calling is because I can see some worse 2 pairs going for value after the turn checks through.

Unfortunately the button called too, so I pretty much knew I was beat right away.

sb had JTo , so was going for thin value with a straight.
button had 45c. Shocked that he did not bet the turn.
