Ace high rainbow six ways? His call range to any turn bet is already pretty strong

I think seven is a better flop bet too.

If his range is that strong, shouldn't we be afraid of sets?

There’s some chance of this. But he’s also got plenty of worse ace two pairs or 75 or 86. And plenty of people struggle to fold aces

We want to thin some of the draws out of his range or change them a lot but keep the two pairs and aces calling.

Betting ~PSB on this flop seems bad to me.

A 1/3 PSB lets hands like gutshots, worse pairs peel incorrectly OOP.
This is incorrect LLSNL thinking. Vs in these limped pots on the flop will peel for basically any price if they're going to peel. PSB or even overbets on the flop are correct in limped pots when we have a value hand.

Are villains really THAT stupid? I guess you can get away with a lot, but just auto-assuming villains will notice nothing at all and will just do exactly what we want seems like a stretch as well.

Yes, they are. Most LLSNL villains think of bets in terms of absolute dollars, not as a percentage of the pot. So they think paying only $15 to peel their gutshot/OESD etc. is a decent price, even when the pot is $12. Their flop calling ranges in limped pots are completely inelastic.

This may be true for 1 or 2 whales at the table, but others are pretty experienced to be that foolish.
