V1, middle-aged non-Caucasian guy, regular to the poker room, talkative, and likes to gamble, about $220 in chips.

V2, young Caucasian guy (wrist-band to prove he's 21), headphones, hyper-aggressive, over $700 in front, played over 60% of the pots for an hour (but played them well, usually aggressive)

Hero, middle-aged Caucasian (no need for wrist-band anymore), didn't play a pot for an hour, won 2 in the last 15 minutes (with immediate previous hand having shown pocket kings), $260 in front.

Hero is dealt jacks, UTG+2, makes it 12 to go...V1-V2 both call, as do 2 others, to make a $60 pre-flop pot. Flop comes Jd, 9s, 3s.

Hero bets $30, V1 calls, V2 calls.

Turn is Kh.

Hero checks, V1 checks, V2 bets 100.

Hero check-raises all-in, V1 calls, V2 mucks.

Was the check-raise turn optimal play? Or should Hero have led out the turn?

Are we on the button?

As played it looks like we checked then got one villain to bet $100, we jam and v1 cold calls. Seems like a good result imo.

I would just bet $35, $65, $100 because I never want the turn to get checked through.

Sorry about that, UTG+2.

$40-$45 on the flop.

If you're reasonably sure V2 is betting his entire range, then c/r is fine. Usually people won't bet draws into two people, but it is a decent scare card.
