Played this hand Immediately after this one:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...-i-do-1573571/

V - Button ($95): Never played with him before, early 20's white guy. He seems a bit nervous.

Hero - LP: Opened 5 of 6 hands after having just sat down, decided to continue on and try to really get a LAG image going.

Pre Flop:

Hero is dealt 75. Folds to Hero who opens to $10. V on the Button calls.

Flop ($20): 782

Hero bets $15, V calls.

Turn ($50): 782T

Hero bets $25, V calls.

River ($100): 782T4

Hero?

Try to realize your SDV. He's never folding an 8 (or a SD that caught a T) after putting half his stack in, so no point in triple-barreling. He's also almost never betting a bare busted FDs given reads, so check and fold to almost all bets.

Thanks a lot for you input on my posts, I really appreciate your time.

Is the rest of the hand more or less ok before the river? Not too out of line?

I wouldn't open 75s if my image were already shaky, but if I did I'd take the same line thereafter.

OTR is intangible; we're really just guessing that he will never fold a better hand, it's just an opinion. When we can't solve it, we revert to nit mode.

The problem with the hand is you got caught stealing. When you were a kid, and you got caught in some mischief, did you go and do some bigger mischief? Of course not. You got screwed when OTB called your PFR. Then you put in $40 more and now you're gonna fold when he bets his 55.

Just stop doing this! Don't play weak hands OOP. He called your bluff PF. Then you flopped a pair, but so what? It doesn't change the essential fact that you're swimming against the current. Maybe the flop bet isn't awful, but then the turn bet sure is. Firing those two barrels can't possibly be right.

You stated that you've opened the last 5 of 6 hands and said in the other thread you had a "good streak of cards." What happened in those hands? It would be good to see if your villains see you as running good or FOS.

The next question is that after 6 hands, what did you see at the table that convinced you that playing LAG would be the optimal way to play. At 1/2, it is rare that LAG is the best way to play.

There are some links to good threads in the stickies on double barreling. Once you understand them, you'll see that the turn wasn't good for double barreling in this situation. On the river, you have some slight SDV, so you're definitely checking.
