$1/$2 @ Parx this is the very first hand I am dealt at the table. Overall I am fairly happy with how I played & just wondering who plays differently, etc.
Hero: 24 ($200)- Regular: Villain 1 probably know me somewhat as LAG but pretty certain he thinks I am solid. (Game varies a lot between LAG & TAG depending on conditions).
Villain 1: ($300)-In his 20's A reg I have played with here and there, do not remember any specific history but at this point know he is very likely TAG.
Villain 2: ($250)- Older heavier guy... No clue who he is but if I had to label him as anything based on appearance, poker related mannerisms (this hand ha) & he limped EP in this hand -- Loose passive fish.
Hero buys B , V1 straddles $4. 1 limp V2 limps 1 more limp. Hero makes it $20 with A J V1 thinks for a few sec and flats, V2 flats rest fold.
Flop (~$70): K 9 8 ... Hero leads out for $50, V1 jams, V2 folds hero calls ~$130 more
I'm making it $25 -$30 pre
Also probably not leading flop and would lean more to a C/R although it wouldn't matter with this hand as the money is getting in either way unless your a nit who folds nut flush draws
130 to call, 300 in pot, calculating...calculating...you only need to win this hand like 30% of the time to make it a profitable call. Your hand is better than that against 2 pair, racing against most 1 pair hands, in worst case scenario he has a set and you are like 25%. Standard call.
Oop I'm usually completing the straddle with this hand and rarely raising to $32.

yeah calling after he shoves in not really a question here, more of all actions leading up to this point.
No... I am out of position in the big Blind. I am first to act on the flop.
Buying the B: I sit in the game the guy to my right is the B. I can chose to wait a hand and let the button pass me or post both this big and the small & get the B the next hand. So for this hand I am posting both the big and the small and have the worst position at the table.
