Not much to say about the players, will just go OTTH.

Hero is in big blind with 1K stack. Looks down at AJo.

UTG+1 bets 20. MP calls. LP calls. SB calls. Hero three bets to 100.

I did not want to go to flop with 4 others and I also had a A blocker so felt comfortable with the 3!.

Everyone calls the 100.

Flop ($500): QT7r

SB checks.

Hero?

What is your range on utg, does he overfold to 3b, open wide?
If you're going to 3b here you need to go bigger like 140
AP give up, everyone called and someone has a piece of it

Preflop is squeeze but generally workable if UTG+1 will give up enough. When you don't get enough folds and it goes 4 ways just give up. The odds that nobody hit this are slim and you didn't.

If you are lucky it will check around or somebody will way under bet.

Fold pre.

If you want to squeeze, squeeze way bigger. This deep this sizing is getting called often and by one person or more often.

AP snap give up, not sure why it's even a decision.

Is this always a fold pre? I think if the players are weak then a squeeze is fine. Are you saying to fold pre because it’s 4 unknown players ?

Well you raised to get folds, which didn't happen, and you didn't flop gin, so pretty easy check. Note calling ranges smash this flop so cbetting and getting ready to commit your 1K stack with a gutter is probably not the best plan.

If you squeeze AJo here (16 combos) against randos you're squeezing way too many hands.

You could randomize AJo combos but it doesn't really make sense to be playing AJo as a mixed strat pre in this scenario, squeezing is either +EV or it isn't against 4 randos at a new table we are playing at, 3 of which have position on us, so you either squeeze or you dont. It literally makes no sense to say, "oh sometimes i'll squeeze against randos, sometimes i'll fold" which is something some regs may say but that's reg fish logic. now if you randomize your preflop strat say BB vs SB and mix between flatting KQo and 3-betting KQo IP, that makes some sense.

Calling here is pretty bad with an often dominated broadway Ace, OOP, and with no suitedness so it's either 3b or fold. Pre sizing is also pretty bad, esp this deep and oop

too many players in the hand to imagine a cb ever getting through, check

don't like the 3bet or the reason for it, no one is gonna fold so you have the same problem as before only for more money
