Regular Home Game
V1 ($400) - Your run of the mill rec with many leaks, especially with preflop sizing. Opens between 7-11 when marginal, opens 15+ when strong. He bets small when drawing post flop, bets 1/2 pot + when has a made hand. Loves to check raise with strength.
V2 ($600) - Generally a better player than V1. Tighter range, but still VPIPing over 30%. Was stacked earlier in the session and had to borrow $500 from a friend to rebuy. Been 3 betting 3 times in the last orbit. Last 3bet was with AA to $40 and got 3 callers. Bets $150 otf to take it down.
Hero covers and has a snug image.
OTTH:
V1 opens for $15 mp, V2 3bets to $35 CO, Hero wakes up with QhQc in the small blind. Hero tanks a little bit and elects to call.
FLOP ($108) 9h8h7c
V1 snap bets $100. V2 snap raises to $300. Hero?????????

Snap fold. I like the flat call pre.

I'm fine with a fold. The only way you are in good shape is if V2 is raising light, which is unlikely since V1 has shown a lot of strength.
I don't like how this played out but I'm not sure anything else would be better. Preflop folding, calling and raising all seem to have more downsides then upsides. I slightly prefer a smallish 4 bet to $100. Force V1 and V2 to indicate if they are willing to play for stacks or not while still letting you fold if one of them shoves. But I can't really object to the way you did play it.

Maybe min-raise to $60? You’re basically trying to glean whether either V has AA/KK and IMO it’s worth paying the extra $30 for that info.
AP, fold OTF seems right.

Yeah, i'd cold 4b here vs V. AP seems like an ok spot to fold
