Reads: He's been pretty tight preflop, folding quite a bit and rarely limping. Don't have much on him postflop. He's in his mid 20s and white. I'm new to the table and my read is only based on about an hour of observation. I probably have a good TAG image.

Folds to me and I make it $12 with QQ in the HJ. Only villain calls next to me, in the CO. Pot is $27 and $65 effective. Flop comes K89. Hero?

Does he have $65 left after the $12 preflop call or does he have $53 left?

If the former, I would think bet $15/fold is a good line. There are very few Kx's that he would call with preflop since we have 2 Q in our hand (negating KQ) and the fact that there is the Kc on the flop and we have the red Qs in our hand make only one KQs combo possible (KsQs). There is also 3 other combos of KJs and 3 combos of KTs. I think he would shove AK so let us eliminate that.

If we bet $15 and eff stacks are $65 so that if he shoves, it's $50 for us to call, the pot is $30+24 = 54 which means we're getting roughly 2 to 1 which means we need a bit better than 33.3% to break-even (counting rake, I'd say roughly 35% equity we'd need).

If we add in all combo draws and JTo and all KT+ to KQ.

Board: Kc 8c 9h

Hand 1: 68.659% 68.54% 00.12% 34606 60.00 { Ac9c, KsQs, KdJd, KhJh, KsJs, KdTd, KhTh, KsTs, QcJc, QcTc, Qc9c, JcTc, Jc9c, Tc9c, 9c7c, 7c6c, KdQc, KdQs, KhQc, KhQs, KsQc, KdJc, KdJh, KdJs, KhJc, KhJd, KhJs, KsJc, KsJd, KsJh, KdTc, KdTh, KdTs, KhTc, KhTd, KhTs, KsTc, KsTd, KsTh, JTo }

So.. yeah if $65, bet $15 (or even $12 if you can) / fold is a fine line imo.
