Found myself in this spot yesterday.
Player Reads:
UTG: tight abc player but does not adjust for position. Typical older 1/2 player that likes to see lots of cheap flops and will get out of the way when not making a strong hand.
SB: tight passive player. Has not won a hand in a while but has seen a lot of flops. Gives regular tells.
BB: strong player; aware of various advanced concepts and plays a TAG game. Demonstrated that he does not adjust to individual players very well.
UTG limps for $2
HERO utg+1 raises to $12 with Q
Q
folds around
SB calls $12
BB calls $12
UTG calls $12
Flop ($48 less 5 rake/bbj) 9

UTG checks; HERO bets $26.
SB tanks for a while and goes back and forth between folding and calling. Eventually calls $26. BB folds. UTG calls $26 relatively quickly.
Turn ($119 pot) 8
SB checks. UTG checks. HERO ???
My opinion of this scenario is that SB is definitely on a draw, but not sure which one. UTG is likely to be on a draw too with this draw heavy board; however, with him limping first he could have a made hand or something as weak as top pair. With lots of river cards being a scare card for us (A, K, hearts, 7, maybe 5) do we press here or slow down? Note: Both villains have about 80-100 behind at this point.
