2/5 NL - Horseshoe Hammond

Hero: ($500) New to the table, I guess villain views me a solid player.

Villain: (~$450) Reg 5/10 player. Plays 2/5 when there is no bigger game. A couple months ago he was one of the biggest whale's in the room, but has quickly grown into a much better player. He is very created and isn't afraid to bluff. Haven't played with him much but the few times I have he did not slowplay big hands and played his draws aggressively.

Preflop: Hero opens utg with TT, MP calls, V in LP calls, both blinds call.

Flop: ($100) 75spade:2 blinds check, Hero bets $65, V and SB call.

Turn: ($290) J SB checks, Hero checks, V bets $75, SB calls, Hero calls.

River: ($515) K SB checks, Hero checks, V bets $225(leaving $40 behind) SB folds, Hero?

Bet turn about 100% of the time... really dislike checking and giving up value & impetus on a card that usually doesn't help the villains drawing on you

Ya checking turn presents this as a guessing game. I expect to see kjss here pretty often. the jack is actually a pretty darn good card.

only hands that got there ott are Jx spades, so i'd continue to bet for value

ap, i'd actually fold ott after checking and facing a bet and a call since you will be forced to fold most rivers to another bet

Bet the turn for sure.

River is definitely a call.

I agree with analysis. Ott if I goof up and check, I'm not going to compound my mistakes by calling a bet multiway with no plan, no clue about equity and a guessing game

Im betting turn alot of the time...

AP folding river as V has bet into two others with our hand being pretty much a bluff catcher
