1/2 preflop AA to Jam or Call? 1/2 preflop AA to Jam or Call?

Posting for my friend the first of two hands. The other one is more interesting but this is a common LLSNL spot that needs to be navigated correctly as to what is the most profit.

5 handed 1/2NL reads not relevant we are TAG late 20's player and have table covered since others are mostly short stacks

Preflop
one limper ($52) to hero in SB. Hero raises to 10. BB calls 10 ($130 left). Limper jams the $52.

Hero? To call or jam is the question. If we call what do we do on the flop? Always jam?

Jamming is almost always better in that situation. BB has less then 3 times what limper jammed for. Either he has a hand he is going with or he doesn't. Flatting just gives him a chance to fold his middle pairs when an ace or king hits the flop. Hero has to be sure BB will station off or spazz jam if he sees a flop for flatting to be better.

If BB has $200+ then it's more villain dependent. Will villain call the jam with anything other then KK+? How much will he lose post flop? Will hero be able to read villain and get away from his hand if losing? When BB reaches $300+ then hero has to consider making a raise that isn't a jam. An apparent ISO raise to $100-$150 gives BB more ways to make a mistake.

I don't think this is true. Depends on the player. While calling $42 of a $130 stack preflop and then playing fit or fold is obviously godawful to us, it's less obvious to some casual players. There's a psychological barrier to going allin.

Easy all in here with the stacks.

I think you could just flat here and try to get some more money in the pot from the BB. Shoving over the top here is also a good play. Either way, do you want to take a larger risk for more money, or just take the pot now?

The last sentence is the essential reason for the whole post.

hero flats (I don't personally like this) and board comes

952 rainbow...

Hero?

My friend said "I'm jamming all flops either way" which leads me to say "well they just stick it in pre if that's the case anyway, you basically allow villain to hit a set and call or miss a set and fold with that strategy"

Anyway thanks for some input I will relay to him. If anyone has some hypothetical strategies for this scenario when we flat (maybe larger stacks, different board textures) do comment those below. I feel that can be a more worthwhile exercise.

Happy felting.

Flat, jam all flops. BB isn't going to call a shove light here, and with stacks this shallow I don't mind letting him calling off a third of his stack to fold when he whiffs, or hang himself for the rest when he flops TP.

Stop fearing flops with AA, it would be different if the pot were 5way or something.

Agree! Jamming lets bb off the hook, get money in the pot while ahead, especially when post flop your hand is going to play itself. You want worse hands to call!

When bb calls he has $80 behind and will have a hard time folding much of anything. Get his stack.

Call pre, jam flop.

You're not letting the BB hit a free set, you're getting him an opportunity to put 42 more dollars in with a worse hand. Hopefully he hit's something, or he has JJ/TT on this flop and talks himself into calling thinking you could have AK.
