$1/2
H BTN ($600) playing LAG against a largely soft table.

V1 SB ($135) loose button clicker. Clearly a guy who plays a lot of poker. Will go with read and make large moves even if math and read are off. I believe he views H as a very competent LAG.

2 horrible V’s limp, I make it $15 w/ 86s because I’m laggy and have a lot of confidence against these two V’s. I’ve been targeting and pounding them for 2 hours. V1 calls from SB which isn’t a shock or a problem. Both targeted V’s fold which is unusual.

Flop ($30)
457r - that’s a good flop when you raise 86!!!

V1 quickly donks out $20. Obviously this hits V harder than H and so I flat the $20 to allow him to continue to fire. With his stack and my position no reason to drive him out. Thoughts on flop?

Turn ($69)
7x

V immediately bets $20 again. He thinks I have 2 big cards or maybe a smallish over pair. He either has a 7 or knows I know this flop is way better for his range. He only has $95 behind and there’s $110 in the pot if I call. Do you pop the turn or let him continue to fire the river?

Thanks.

Call again, bet the rest of his stack if he checks river, but before you do, spend 5 seconds trying to see how big the pot is.

The weak lead on the turn might imply that he will fold if we raise.

With $95 left our Villain might go "same bet" on the river, for "value".

We can minraise him then.

If we think he will call a turn minraise then we can bet the river after the probable "check to the raiser" but either way we might at most only get two more small bets from him, unless he is stronger than we thought.

If he folds to the turn minraise we only get one bet.

Half a loaf is better than none.

Click back the turn and hope he shoves as we are never folding. You just don't want a bad card to come on the river to kill the action. I make it like $55 on the turn.
