Villain just sat down with $300 and is on wait list for 2/5. I have no past history with him that I can recall. In this hand the rest of table is irrelevant I have $550.
Villain raises to $12.00 from HJ, I have AQ on the button and call we get 2 more callers(pot $48). Flop K92 checks to villain he bet $35.00, I call the rest fold (pot $118). Turn is the J villain checks, I bet $45 and villain calls (pot $208). River 2 villain jams.....

V really should have raised to $12.46 not $12.00. Clear mistake on his part. similar mistake on the turn. The $35.00 turn bet Should have been $34.81. The $45 on the turn was brutal sizing. Why not $75-80? River is snap call.

Going to be pretty hard to fold this but I don't think it's a "snap call". Hard to put villain on anything we beat. He can't really have a bluff after x/c the turn because all the top clubs are in our hand. X/c turn and jam river line makes no sense for value hands other than boats. Against an unknown I think you have to call it off, but I don't like it.

3b pre. $90 turn. As played snappy snap.

3! pre, raise flop, smash turn. Makes river call off easier.

I did not 3b because he was unknown, bought in full and was on 2/5 wait. I normally 3b this hand unless is against someone I know is capable of a 4b wide. The turn I bet small because I did not think he could have much to call with. The river I tanked for about 30 sec and 20 sec in he says "I am happy with how much is already in pot". I folded because he talked and the only hand I beat that calls turn is AA turned into bluff or him ranging me on KJ which is same anyway. Should I be calling here? if yes what are we putting him on?

I think your reasoning for not 3 betting pre is pretty suspect. Just because hes on the WL for 2/5, doesn't mean we can assume hes 4betting wide/light but often means hes opening wider than a normal 1/2 villian from the HJ making this a slam dunk 3b spot.

I agree with you and Chris that its hard to find hands a competent villain would play like this that you're beating. That being said, you are at the top of your range in this spot and your small turn bet could be viewed as weak/ setting your price with the AcX so I think you just have to close your eyes and call.

3! Vs lp open. As played I can get behind a call or raise on the flop. Turn bet more. At least 80$ Also wouldn't be a bad spot for an overbet. Pretty gross spot on river getting 2-1 not many flushes he can realistically have. Flip a coin heads fold tails call.

I 3b pre this hand 100% of the time, esp against a player who plays higher playing in 1/2. I notice these players open wider, call wider, will 4b lighter. We are fine calling a 4b anyway in position if he truly will 4b light.

Flop is standard.
Turn should be $70-$80. Missing a lot value here.
River is a sigh call. He's repping like 10 full house combos. If he can have a few worse flushes, plus all his random bluffs and spazzes it's a call. Can't just call boats here.
