V ($300): No read. Just sat down like 15 mins and won a pot by caught the bluff.

Preflop: 6 limpers. Hero($500) checks on BB with 24o

Flop ($14) A 2 4r

Hero bets $10, V calls. btn calls.

Turn ($44):Q

Hero bets 30, V calls, btn folds.

River($104): 6

Hero bets 40, V tanks and calls.

What are V's ranges here? I put him on top pair.

nh... not really sure what the question is here.

We don't know villain's range. How could we? You haven't told us anything about him.

River sizing is way too small

With no read on villain at all, his range here is almost guesswork. Depending on who I was playing I could be anywhere from check/evaluate to betting more for value on river. Against an unknown, I like the small bet/fold if raised. You want to keep the AX hands in, and they are likely to give up to a 3rd big bet. With the possible straight on board, your only getting raised by better hands.

It could have been a bit bigger, like 55-60 but it's not horrific. Without reads its hard to say what the proper bet sizes should be.

Your sample size is too small to construct his range. don't know what you are trying to get here with minimal info.. You haven't even mentioned his position. He is a hero caller with decent hand reading skills. so his range can vary from 4X to a set of 6.

V is UTG+1.

Here is result:
Spoiler:

V tanks and flips over AA (He puts me on straight), then make a cry call. I was like WTF and mucked.

It's fine. I'd just go 55-60 on river.

Results are lol of course.
