1/2 NL. 9 handed. Table is loose aggressive. 30 minutes into session.

Hero (CO, $200): TAG image

Villain (Hj, $300): Loose player. Generally plays pretty bad (regularly calls with second pair, middle pair.) Villain believes he's a great player and I regularly hear him giving bad advice when talking strategy before our games start.

OTTH

MP 1 limps, villain limps and hero looks up to A Q and opens to $11. Everyone folds except villain who flats.

Flop ($27) A 9 6. Villain checks and hero leads out for $15 and villain flats.

Turn ($57) 3. Villain leads out for $25. Hero?

Very possibly against A3 or maybe a diamond draw. I’d flat and force V to prove it. Q, 9 and 6 are all good rivers. Action from V on d, 10 or 5 river would make me nervous. Otherwise i’d Call 1/2 PSB on river. Miracle Q and i’m Comfortable gii.

I'm not giving up to his first bet with TPGK. I would consider folding on the river if he continues.

Knowing something about how villain is bad makes a big difference. If he is a passive calling station then his bet probably means 2 pair+ and you can safely fold. If he donks weak hands to see where he is then never folding turn.

I honestly can't recall any situation ever where villain has donk betted the turn or river when someone else was showing the aggression. However, he does regularly bet out on flops that he was not the pre flop aggressor for when the flop comes a paired board and he has the other card (i.e. 663, he'll bet out with a 3), and he always shows the card that gave him two pair for whatever reason.

This.

In order to be able to raise the turn, we would need to know more about villain and these stack sizes suck for raising.

I would definitely size larger pre against a bad loose villian. I like 15$ here. Also I would bet more against this V on the flop to get more value. 2/3 To 3/4 pot.
