I have a pretty solid image, having consistently shown down strong hands.

UTG+1 is ~40 and Asian. He is a weak player who will frequently call preflop raises and then fold to c-bets. He's also prone to limping with complete trash from time to time. We have some history going back to a previous session, and I have pretty much run over him on every occasion, either with the best hand or just a c-bet.

UTG+2 is a white male in his late 30s. This is the second consecutive Friday that I have played with him, and on both occasions, he has been in the middle of a marathon session that started the previous evening. Both times, he has had over $1,000 when I came to the table, only to bleed hundreds off apparently as fatigue set in. He is clearly prone to tilt as his stack dwindles. He's active, but not a maniac. He will make bluffs but also bets his strong hands pretty hard. He seems to view me as a rock and has been unable to get the best of me.

I have $625; UTG+1 has $150; UTG+2 has $600.

I raise to 10 UTG with QJ, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls.
Flop (33): T97
I check, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks.
Turn (33): 7
I bet 18, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls.
River (87): 8
I bet 45...

I feel pretty comfortable with the way I played preflop, flop, and turn. I'm most interested in hearing what people think of the river bet.

Thanks.

I dont mind it, whats ur thought process on the turn bet sizing?

I think you can probably go a bit bigger on the river and fold to a raise by UTG+2, cause your 45 commits you HU against UTG+1 so you might as well go for more, i believe your ahead and gonna get called by weaker.

With neither one of them showing much interest in the flop, I thought the turn was a pretty safe card. I thought I had a fair chance of picking up the pot with a small bet. At the same time, if I'm called, I'm setting a pretty decent price for myself to see the river and try to hit one of my presumed six outs. I didn't think about it at the time, but it's possible that the non-diamond queens and jacks might be outs as well.

Anyway, I was trying to balance the opportunity to win the pot uncontested with not pumping too much money in when I'm drawing pretty thin.

However, I think betting 20-25 would be reasonable.

Well i actually like your turn bet as a blocker, dont need one of em potting it with a pp, but I dont think you had much FE if any.

Yeah, I think it's a blocker/semi-bluff/price-setter that gives me a pretty fair chance to win the hand.

Revisiting some of my old hands and noticed that I never posted results for this one.

They both called the river bet, and my hand was good, haha. That was a good day.

I'd bet a little more otr, there's actually a lot of worse hands that will call: 2 worse straights (although you're blocking the 2nd nut straight a little) and trips. I think whatever calls $45 calls $60.
