Inability to make hero calls and think only in terms of absolute value will shackle you to the doom of being a nit-reg.

I am not speaking of this hand specifically, but saying that calling pot sized bets or donk bets or bet/calling with 2nd pair is bad as a rule is stupid. It depends, and if you've never done any of the above, you're probably too tight. Remember, your WTSD% when calling river bets doesn't need to be more than 33% or whatever.
