Hero: Early 20s WG, TAG. ~$400 effective. At table for around 2 hours. Won 2 decent-sized pots during that time at the table.

Villain: Late 40s-Early 50s WG, LAG wearing backwards sunglasses, hat, and AirPods aka the Trifecta. ~$900 effective. Pretty reckless at the table and got caught overbet bluffing twice while I was at the table (1.5x pot with pocket 3s on an AQ-high board and the same scenario with pocket 7s).

Villain in UTG +1 limps, folds to Hero in HJ who makes it $15 with KK, folds to SB and BB who both call along with the Villain.

Flop ($60) 1053
Checks to Hero who puts in cbet of $40. Folds to Villain who makes the call.

Turn ($140) 8
Villain overbets pot $150, Hero?

Yea im calling this all day on turn. You can prolly go bigger even on flop if you want.... 50-60 isn’t wrong. I’m calling turn and prolly making a solid sized value bet on river if checked to me. If villian leads river, I’m prolly calling an extremely high % of the time. A-10 and other good 10s can get out of line here by villian it seems.

Folding this turn seems terrible to me. If he has 2 pair or sets, bad luck imo and you can reload. From what I feel here, I feel villian has a 10 he wants to protect based on turn sizing but who knows. Raising is bad on turn bc you let villian play correctly against your hand.

Any small card on river.... villian is prolly blasting 10x on river so you should win a nice pot if he doesn’t have a monster.

Call turn. Call river or bet if checked to. I could maybe be persuaded otherwise if V's previous bluffs were all into very weak ranges, but given the info in OP there's no way we can be folding an overpair. I assume none of the two pair combos (except maybe T8s) are in V's range?

Regular sunglasses are one thing, but backwards sunglasses? Get that man some help!

You described villain as a guy who overbet bluffs a lot so there is no way you can fold here.

Call and call most rivers vs. a bluffy V.

You should have a dedans read on vilain to be a nit to be even consider folding. Here you have a read on vilain as bluffy/reckless so I would just call, let him hang himself on the river.

Honestly theres not much river i would fold, maybe if the 8 paires, or the 9
They love to do it with hand they floated with hand picked up equity, like 89, 87s etc...

What is the result anyway ?

He could have anything here. Really looks like he has Tx and wants to find out where he is. Or some kind of club draw. Maybe 8x. But if he had you smashed, he would just CR you all in on the turn versus donking out.

I think the best move is to just shove all in over him on the turn. But there is a little merit to just calling him down on the turn and on the river. Never folding.
