Friday night, Local casino

V(70): Old asian grandma. regular. Tight but passive. Usually play with good hand.
Hero(450): TAG, winning image.

Preflop: V limps in. Hero(BB) checks with Q5

Flop: Q 7 5 R

Hero checks, V bets 15. Hero raises to 30. V all in (53)

Is this a snap call against short stack?

I think it would be more interesting if V was all in, not for $53, but $153.

Super-snippety snap call. Even a T/P could have AQ here, and just that and sets means that you are 50% against her range.

With $60 of dead money in the pot, you def call. It's $38 to you to call, and the total pot if you do (less rake) will be $136. Your call will represent 28% of the pot, so that is how much equity you need in order to be able to call. The only way that you could fold is if she shows you a set.
