1/2 live game with stacks from about $100-$625. Lots of action and solid play.

V1- standard play and about $150 stack
V2- has made great plays and shown calling with both strong and weak hands and has $625
Hero- $450

V1- Sitting in cutoff plays a good amount of hands and with 2 callers makes it $7 preflop.

Hero- calls with A3 in the SB. Loose call, but not expecting a re-raise from previous pots.

V2- calls in the BB.

2 other callers to the flop.

Flop comes 245

Hero- first to act with 4 behind me I make it $20 into a $28 pot.

V2- re-raises to $50

2 other callers fold

v1- in the cutoff ponders and re-raises all in for about $150

Hero- call the $175

V2- shoves all in for $550

Hero- I make the call holding the wheel with only 3/6 beating me.

TURN BLANK
RIVER BLANK

V1- shows Q3 having an up and down straight draw and flush draw

V2- shows 67 having a flush draw and up and down as well.

Both missed netting a $1,200 pot

However, did I play this correctly?

There is no way im ever folding here. Well played. This is a spot we need to get it in as soon as possible and prey for the clean run out.

Welcome to the forum. I suggest reading the threads at the top of the forum page to learn more about poker and posting in this forum.

When you do, you'll find that we strongly suggest not putting the results of the hand in your original post. The reason is that you'll get a cascade of people saying call because you won, not because it was the right decision based on the villain's range.

At 1/2, I'd fold pf against most villains. If the villain was raising loose, then I'd 3bet rather than call. Calling is the worst option. Given what we know afterwards, I'm 3betting him relentlessly in the blinds going forward.

As played, you're never folding a straight on the flop. Not even a real decision.
