You sized your turn bet way too small, that's what.

Edit: and your flop bet too indeed.

Do you’ll realize they all folded to just $50 OTT? Betting bigger with the board almost locked up on a bad turn card seems stupid.

And betting $20 on the flop on a super wet board in a multiway pot when any hand that calls $20 will call $35 AND betting $50 on the turn when any hand that calls $50 will call $85 seems even more stupid

I think people might fold stuff like Jx to a PSB lead OTF, but will get sucked in to $20. Plus there’s no card we’re afraid of.

Re: 1/2: Monster flop, what did I do wrong?

You bet twice into a super wet flop from first position with 3-4 people behind. Maybe the first one you had some skeptical Vs that wanted to float but after the second one it's clear you're very strong. You can't expect them to call with anything less than a set or top two. You should be happy you got 3 callers on the flop. Sounds like a big win to me.

I might have bet a bit more on the flop but not much more. Maybe $25-28, unless you think you have a bluffy image, in which case PSB is good since they may think you're repping a 10.

I think i check on the flop to get an idea of what people have and induce betting. Call whoever bets. Check raise on the turn

Problem is- if flop checks through, it’s going to be a disaster. Same for the turn IMO.

Theres not many hands that can beat you here. You have a straight with a flush draw. Way ahead imo.

Re: 1/2: Monster flop, what did I do wrong?

I’ve got no problem with how hand went down. I’ve probably would have bet 25-30 on flop, 1/2-3/4 pot on turn. Really wet board here. Be happy you got $60 on the flop. Sometimes that $20 bet gets folded around

Yeah I think a check/call on the flop is in order here and then a check/raise turn, but not sure why everyone is tripping about your bet sizing on the flop and turn, seems fine to me.

I’m not worried about that at all. I’m worried about not getting max value, which is guaranteed to happen if any street checks through.

Re: 1/2: Monster flop, what did I do wrong?

It's difficult to extract more value than you did when you block literally every hand that can continue that's not 2p or a set. Pretty good chance your opponents have garbage holdings here.

You could have checked the turn and see if someone improves, otherwise you weren't getting any more money.

You're missing a lot of value from a lot of hands. Any hand that calls 20 on this flop will also call 25 or 30. There are many hands that would want to continue on this superwet flop, even with our two blockers.

Besides having a reputation of 3 barreling air frequently, there isn't much more you can do. The board got stronger on the turn and you fired away anyway. All Jx hands are going to give up.

Would you have been happier to let it check through on the turn, a spade come on the river and have your bet raised?

1/2: Monster flop, what did I do wrong?

I just got into a similar spot at 2/5 right now..

4 limps, I check T2o in BB

FLOP (25): JT2r
I bet 25, 3 calls

TURN (125): 2x
I bet 50, all fold

How ridiculous is this?

I’d gladly take a $95 profit every time I had T2o on the BTN

I’d take a $95 profit with T2o in ANY position

That’s not the point. Maybe if I bet $25 again (“same bet”), they all call again for lolpotodds to try and hit their straights. Ugh.

I guess I’m overdoing the bet/bet/bet principles of LLSNL.

There's nothing wrong with your line on either hand. On H2 I probably wouldve either bet same amount on turn or checked. Someone probably has KQ or 98. I give them what they think are great odds to hit the straight. One of them may even bet the turn with their draw and try to rep a 2.

What’s your plan OTR if:

a) it’s any straight completing card?
b) it’s a blank?

You bet either way. Nobody's folding a straight in LLNL. Bet at least 2/3 to 3/4 pot.

Under what scenario? What happened on the turn? A variety of things couldve happened since I said check or bet same amount and there are 3 other guys still in the hand.
