Going slightly bigger on the flop but your bet was fine. Never going smaller on the turn. Sucks that they folded but nothing you can do. They probably weren't going to suddenly wake up with a hand on the river that you beat and then pay you off.
I really don't like checking flop unless they had been playing really loose/aggressive and will call a check raise. If you have a strong hand on a wet board with loose passive players just bet it.

check raise that flop, Tx Jx 89, XsXs all calling the raise. AP bet more on flop and turn. Youre looking for stacks from draws and 2p+ here, the fact that they all had one pair is bad luck.
