Hero table breaks at 3:30 am and combines a new table 5 handed.

Most players are pretty deep at this point.

V1 $450 behind. 30's something white guy. Does not seem like a grinder. Seen him limp a few hands 4 handed. Guessing the type who thinks "slow play" is the right play.

Hero ($600) BTN raises $10 with KK. SB folds, V1= BB calls.

Pot = $21.

Flop JJ6. Hero cbets for value $20. V1 calls.

Pot = $56.

Turn 3. Hero cbets for value $40. V1 Calls. (at this point I think V1 might have a J and is trying to slow play me. Planning on checking back river if check to or folding to a shove)

Pot = $136.

River J. V1 leads out $100.

Hero?

Meh calling. He has enough hands that you beat that getting more than 2:1 on the call should be +EV.

+1 to check turn then either decide river or bet if checked to if we are only going for two streets of value anyway.

As played call river.

Hero bet too much on flop and turn. River is easy call though.
