HERO (UTG+1) : 500$
MP : 350$

MP seems like a bad reg, he is very active on the table. I'm not sure about how I played the whole hand to be fair. After review, I think I should've c/r or c/f turn. Shoving the river could also be an option because turn&river are both in our range, I just put him on a set too often.

Preflop : Hero is UTG+1 with J9
Hero raise to 6$, UTG+2 calls, MP calls, SB calls and BB calls.

Flop: (30$) 963
Hero bets 22$, MP raise to 65$, everyone else folds. Hero call.

Turn: (160$) K
Hero checks, MP bets 75$, Hero thinks for a while and calls.

River: (310$) A
Hero checks, MP checks as well and show 96

the hand was played fine besides pre. Don't open this hand UTG+1

Also this isn't a high stakes hand.

Also raise more than $6 if your going to raise UTG+1 to deny loose calls and 3bets when you are this deep.

If I would want to bluff shove... Is it better to do it on the turn or river? I feel like his range can be wide there, he can have flush draws, open handers, two pairs and sets. Beside sets, i'm pretty sure he doesn't call a river jam on this board because the turn and river, in principle, benefits me more than him.

I think a river jam could be +EV in this spot.

Your river bluff wouldn't even be half pot, there are a ton of draws that missed (making it easier for villain to find a call) , villain already showed strength in the hand by raising your flop cbet and continuing on the turn, you block flush draws (except the nut flush draw , which has now paired up and isn't folding), this is and example of when NOT to bluff

And you have some showdown value In case he does have a busted straight or flush draw... Literally zero reason to bluff here.. I think this hand is a case of entitlement tilt. Your hand was a monster on the flop, so you feel like you have to find a way to win the pot, even tho the run out is terrible and the villain shows stength.

I think you could have 4bet on the flop but I don't like the rest of the hand. Check/calling turn was the worst decision you could have made and I agree that check/raising or check/folding would have been better.
I also agree that $6 isnt enough pre flop. I like $8-$12 and my standard opening size at 1/2 is almost always $10.
A river jam very well might be slightly +EV but I just don't like the play. Do you think V is good enough to know that the turn and river hit our range. I just think its too thin to expect V to fold. V either has a hand like two pair, a set, or a flush/straight draw. So by jamming the river, do we expect to get him to fold sets? I don't think so.

top pair+ FD are worse to bluff with than bare flushes because youre wasting your pair value, and the hand isnt particularly vulnerable to being outdrawn. Raise way more preflop, make it like $15-18. as played, WP.

Dont post results in the initial post.

$12-15 pre or fold. Rest is fine. You could check/fold turn to a much stronger bet, but not for $75 into $160. He'll have a set a lot of the time here and he isn't ever folding, so no point in going crazy. Thinking you could have bluffed the river is just results oriented thinking after you saw his hand (he would have called anyway)

Thank you for your feedbacks guys, appreciate it alot!

1. I should probably open for more preflop. Will correct that in the future.

2. I'm surprised that you guys agree with my post-flop play. I'm pretty sure my call on the turn is -EV, I actually called because of the implied odds on the river.
