Hero$250)UTG 20s African American female. She has been viewed as a conservative player but secretly she has gotten away with check reraising on bluffs a few times. However she has folded 80% of her hands during her time at the table. ( She has getting dealt no pairs and mainly connectors or 9/2 4/8 repeatedly it was uncanny)

Villain #1 ($43)middle position . 60s Caucasian male. He came to the table with $100 and hes a calling station. His stack got down to $50, and he went all in pre flop 2 hands ago. no one called him and he won the limping pot.

Villain #2 ($350 ish) CO. 30s drunk guy, Caucasian male. excessive talker. He throws in randomly chips without looking at his hands a few times. And lives straddles.

Hero has KQ and makes it $15. Villian #1 goes all in. Villain #2 makes it $143......(This was unusual as he has never bet more than $20 in the pot preflop. And hes not talkative anymore lol literally just starring at hero and her stack size)

Hero???

I'm getting this in. you need about 40% and you're like 45% vs most ranges, even pretty tight ones. Fine to fold if you want to reduce variance and see how he's playing this spot before committing a buy in.

Why are you 7.5x’ing pre? Is there a straddle or no?

Ap i turbo muck. Calling here is spew

KQs is towards the bottom of an utg opening range, so not sure why you consider calling here. If the CO showed you KJs, great for him

no straddle but this table preflop raises have been $15-20 and this table had 7 people in it.

I'm folding.

The drunk guy suddenly became sober, quiet, serious about your chips?
Without further information, this seems like the type of player who is borderline maniac for small bets, but has a strong hand when the bets get large. Don't fall for the advertising. And even if you're folding a winner, it's not a strong enough hand to feel bad about it.

We miss the flop about 2/3 of the time.

We are almost surely behind, quite possibly dominated, and out of position (not that position matters now since 60% of our stack is potentially in play right now).

And Villain 2 has a flashing neon sign on his forehead reading "Abandon hope, ye who enter this pot, I has QQ+."

What was the question again?

You're actually overrepped here and villain is still shoveling in chips. It's possible he's having a blowup moment but more likely has a very strong hand and KQ is dominated by very strong hands.

FOLD. You have a super tight image and are facing 4bet from a suddenly quiet drunk guy.

KQs is a great hand post-flop but you have no play-ability given stack sizes.

RESULTS:

I folded,

flop was KA9
turn was a Q
river was a Q

the short stack had 33 and the drunk had A9 suited

I hate flops like these when you fold and the result is that you would have boated lol but I'm glad I did the right play

Result is irrelevant. Folding was the correct play IMO with no info. NOW you have better info on what he is capable of and you can adjust accordingly.
