game is 1/2 100 max bet.

V1($175): just sat down no reads on him but doesn't look very competent

V2($400): huge fish but been hitting some hands, he limp calls nearly every hand. calls off multiple streets with TPBK. he will lead out with sd/fds into multiple people with nearly PSBs and will fire multiple streets. played a hand against me where he limpcalled KJss, i raise to 15 with AKo he calls. he leads on Q54ss flop, i call. turn bricked we check. river A he max bets 100 with missed fd. that being said he will fold to raises, i c/r him twice and he folded both times.

Hero($300): been running horribly getting my Aces cracked twice against fds. other than that been playing pretty tight but raising a lot in position. probably seen as an aggressive player and maybe loose because of the lp raises.

V1 raises to $10, mp calls, V2 calls, i call otb with KQs. blinds fold. any thoughts on 3! here? thought calling was optimal when i was in the hand.

Flop($40) K62r

V1 leads $25, V2 calls, i call.

Turn($115) 8x

V1 leads $50, V2 calls, i call.

River($265) T

V1 leads $95 all-in, V2 calls, i call.

opinions on every street would be appreciated. i took a passive line because i wanted to keep V2 in the hand. but i do feel like i coulda played it better. and also in hindsight i feel like i should have raised the river against V2 because he never has KQ beat here.. anyways thanks!

River is close....i guess i'm folding....but if you don't wanna fold, given the info that i quoted you should just call.

IMO

i feel like there was too much money in the pot at that point for him to fold to a minraise

V1 raises to $10,
call me a nit but i fold pre. most players on these 1/2 tables are only raising JJ+ and without reads i have no problem mucking KQs.

Def not folding pre with position and KQs.
And def not for $10.

Hand seems well played IMO.

I think it's borderline if we are ahead of V2's range here by the river. The thing is with V1 being all in, V2 can't hope to raise to get more money out of him with his strong hands, so he has to flat with all of his two pairs to hope that you come along so he can get more money into the pot.

While yes, there might be a decent portion of hands in his range that we beat also, like weaker Kings, there are some turned / rivered two pairs that we are still behind that he would likely play the same way. I think that I'm just calling here, and I feel pretty good about it.

Preflop is fine. KQs is too good to fold but only rarely significantly ahead of V1's range.

Given the action I probably give this up on turn. V1 bet flop, got two calls and still bet a dry board. Without some reason to believe V1 will barrel air here, the range of hands hero beats is getting small. River is a toss up between folding and a crying call, I wouldn't expect to win very often but pot odds are good and hero closes action.
