I came from a broken game

Newish to table but it's early in the morning - like 4 and the people at the table seem decent just by how the handle themselves and the fact that like 5 people at the table have 300+ bb in front of them.

I have $250 and am in cut off. 3 people limp and I make it $10 with KJo and 2 people call. I'm last to act.

Flop is 999

Check / check / I lead for $15 / fold / raise to $30 so $15 more to me.

I'm pretty sure he never has a 9 here and it looks like he has a hand like 55 - 77.

I think the best move would be to call and see a turn and if he bets weak to raise.

What is any one else's opinion.

is that a c/r? getting people to fold overpairs (or full houses) is not the way to print money in NLHE

now, if you are somehow 100% sure he's got an underpair and not a 9, you can draw to your 6 outs to make a better boat. i believe $75 in the pot, you have to call $15 so 5:1 or not quite the odds you need (6:1) for the turn, considering i would expect him to bet again. also, sometimes he has the 9.

i would abandon ship, we cant be positive he doesn't have a 9, aren't getting the right price, probably wont have a whole lot of fold equity here...

Hitting a K/J is the classic definition of a RIO situation. I just muck and save myself the trouble

maybe i call here if he's accidentally exposed his cards as an underpair AND he's a total station that will stack off when an overcard hits. i think thats the only way its +EV

You should raise more PF against this many limpers. As played, bet more OTF. Considering your as played smallish sizing if call and evaluate turn.

ya it's a check raise. but I think I can rep more than just a J or K - like if an ace or queen comes on the turn. I would assume raising with a 9 would be extremely rare and something you would never do with out some sort of image.
