2/5, $1.1k effective with UTG and HJ, $600 effective with BB. Hero most likely has a loose end of TAG image.*

OTTH

TAG reg opens $20 UTG, hero looks down at K♦️ J♦️, briefly considers putting in a 3 bet, but calls. Are you 3 betting here? TAG reg calls HJ, and tight player who is in between TAG and passive, probably leaning slightly more towards TAG, but is almost certainly the worst player in this game calls BB.*

Flop ($82): K♥️ T♣️ 9♠️. BB leads for $80 and UTG calls. Hero? I think it's between two options, but I've gotten all three responses here.

You can fold comfortably behind BB donk range and UTG open range. Or you can bink the Q. The HH is a little confusing but with the HJ left to act, you could also be facing a squeeze. What is your stack size here?

I dont think its anything wrong with folding pre. We faced an UTG open, and KJ doesent do that well against tighter ranges plus we basically have the whole table behind us to act.

Flop i think raising is vastly overplaying our hand, wich could be burning us alot of money when we run into monsters on this board. I actually like folding better than raising here, when we are facing a full pot bet and a call.

I like folding PF if we aren’t that deep.
As we are deep we can call, but our K’s won’t be good.

Flop I’m folding vs this size and without BDFD.
I could call if there was a diamond on the board or vs a smaller sizing.

Yeah I think cold-calling KJs EP vs UTG is kinda leaky.

ap flop i just give it up, raising is spewy and you're always behind here so calling cant be good

How would should our 3 bet vs UTG open range be from +1? I've heard more than one pro advocate for not having a flatting range vs UTG except BTN and BB.

We do have decent equity though if we call. Does anyone like raising here because we have a blocker to the nuts, and BB + UTG's range is primarily one pair hands so real FE?

Playing 1/2 we have so low fold equity.
I think there is no need in keep fighting for this hand.

I advocate the flat PF because we can easily fold on unfavorable action/board postflop.

We can continue calling/fighting on any board KXX JXX with 1 diamond (BDFD) and other backdoors boards that aren’t AXX.

The villains have a strong range and both of em are demonstrating strenght Flop.

We will have better oportunities later.

Title is wrong I think. It is 2-5
I fold PF and AP, fold flop.
Raising is interesting but too difficult to get this through given board texture and PF ranges.
I feel like folks lately (me included) are overweighting blockers. We have one J. There are three left.

Yeah, I can't edit the title is the problem.

In hindsight this is probably pretty spew, but I elected to raise to $320, knowing we have decent equity if called, but that BB and UTG are heavily swayed towards one pair hands (though very good one pair hands), and I didn't feel like they'd be able to continue. Both did fold, but I was warned that most 2/5 villains, including most regs won't fold AA or AK here, so I won't be trying something like this again. I like a call more here because of our equity, and would be raising hands like QTs/JTs instead.
