been at table for a few hours, playing really lag this session.

V1 ($425) is 20s loose, aggro, straddled like 1 other time & 3! me one other time b4 hand in question, 2 hands worth mentioning vs villain - called him down SB vs HJ with 3rd pair on river med sized pot when he checked flop then bet turn & river vs me and someone else and MHIG vs his turned GS (other player folded river IP)...2nd hand was like 15 minutes prior to hand in question, I straddled 75o, was raised to $10 with 4 callers so I peeled, flopped trips on J55hhx and GII on flop vs V1 for $900 pot and held vs his NFD.

V2 ($350) is 40ish, donkish, I iso 3! one hand OTB vs his UTG open and called 3 streets of his donk leads with 2nd pair and was good against his 64o (no pair no draw)

BTN ($150) just sat down no reads

1/2, 9 handed, straddle, hero (covers) raises to $15 UTG+1 w/ JJ, V2 calls in CO, BTN calls, folds to V1 in straddle who raises to $50, hero calls (?), V2 calls, BTN calls

flop ($203) - 8 3 2 two clubs, V1 bets $120, hero?

Id prolly just get it in.

There is $440 in the pot after we call and the next biggest stack only has $250 left in it.
He shouldn't really fold any of his range to us.

We can get value from 99 / TT and all XXcc hands he has. Might even be some SC in his range we can get value from.

I think 4 betting is better vs this type of players range, with the plan to get it in. JJ going 4 ways just seems like a crappy spot without position. We want to be heads up vs a dominated range.

As played jamming seems totally fine, problem is everyone is likely priced in. You are going to have to fade the world GL.

Even though V is described as aggressive, HHs described do not necessarily indicate a reckless spewtard. In the first hand, V is betting versus perceived weakness. And in the second, he gets it in with a draw, while maybe trying to represent flopped trips.

So when V 3! pre versus hero for just the second time of the night, then fires $120 into 3 opponents, I would assign a fairly tight range.

AA-88, AsKs, AsQs, KsQs would make up the bulk of his range in my mind.

Will we be doing very well if we continue vs. this range with 187bb behind? I'm not liking it too much. Plus there are two players yet to act (although they should be relevant only a small % of the time).

I'm interested in what others think about this hand.

First of all, I want to play in that game!!!

I don't like that you let the other V's in behind you preflop although I will admit I wasn't expecting them to call the 3! as I was reading the action.

As played, we are in a tough spot on the flop. I'd probably be fine w getting it in vs. V1 but we have players behind us to act and if we raise AI, is worse going to call? Maybe but if someone does call, I would not expect to be ahead. And I don't like flat calling and leaving ourselves open to a raise behind us so...

I think I kick myself for not 4-betting preflop and make a reluctant fold here. From the description of the game, you have a big enough skill advantage to let this marginal spot go and find a better spot. V may have even woken up w a very big hand that you were able to get away from.

I think the biggest problem is not isolating pre. Now we have a 100 bb pot with an SPr of less than 2 meaning we could get it in with an over pair. Unless the hand was simply played to set mine. I suppose preflop you were getting a decent price assuming others call. I don't really like just Flatting and planning to fold on one of the better flops we will see.

The biggest problem is the villans behind us but we can eliminate QQ+ from there range meaning we are only in bad shape vs sets. I say take the high variance route and get it in but 4 betting pre would of been preferred. It seems like villian is willing to defend his straddle which has to widen his range some.

Also there seems to be a dynamic vs hero and V1 developing which may increase the chances of villian messing around
