Confused About Butt Stuff

hero($200) raises JJ 2 away from BTN to $10, BTN($200) calls, EP($100) limper calls.

flop($33): T

EP checks, hero cbet $23, BTN raises to $60, EP folds, hero?

BTN- fat mid 50's Caucasian, he has raised 2 pair on a flush/broadway board on the river, he has also bluffed a missed NFD on the river and showed. passive for the most part, but overvalues hands as you can see, and bluffs occasionally

heros image tight. been card dead for a while, haven't shown down a bluff or anything.

While there are a lot of hands he can do this with, like AT, there are also 3 sets squarely in his range.

I hate folding, but, you have an overpair, and you have just said he is somewhat passive. Passive players don't often raise you light. I would puke fold and wait for a better spot.

Also, raise more pre. Passive players are less likely to get out of line when the pot gets larger, which would make this easier to lay down.

this is a read/ranging issue

you're 13% vs a set
you're 30% vs two pair
you're 60% vs jq and 75% against 87
you're just over 50% against the nut/a higher card flush draw and a slight dog to a pair/flush draw combo

my default response against unknowns is to get it in with an overpair facing a reraise on
a drawy board like this but as the numbers above attest, you're way behind the ranges of some villains who are less likely to be raising draws and more likely to be raising to scare off/beat out draws.
