1/2, 8 handed. Hero $450, clean image. Haven't been playing a ton of hands or playing so aggressively that other players would suspect that I'm splashing around.

Main V. Covers ($1100) 50s Asian guy, running hot and playing a fairly wide range. Capable of applying pressure, but have yet to see him show down a big bluff. Deem him to be a solid and capable thinking player.

BTN straddle for $5, coming from a tight player that just limp-jammed QQ preflop and doubled up to $270. I expect him to play a straight forward range and not continue wide just because he straddled.

SB/BB fold, main V $12 from what would be UTG if there were no straddle. This is small sizing for V from a straddle, so I don't expect him to have premium hands here. H 3! $35 from the HJ with JJ . 3! size a bit small because of my read on V and there having been no other players entering the pot . Straddle folds, V calls

Flop: $72 (after rake) 983
V X's, H $35, V calls

Turn $142 2
V x's, H $90. V tanks for about 30sec then counts out a stack of green that covers H and raises AI. So pot's $612, $290 for H to call. I go deep into the tank. I block some of his J10 combos, and I feel my hand is face up as an OP. Having some history with this V, I somewhat discount him jamming sets here, though his range itself does absolutely include all the sets. Im also discounting most larger OPs given his PF sizing. He definitely could have 98 in his range, and I also believe he could make this play with either a pair or a straight draw that turns a flush draw....H?
