LJ I don't have too much history with but it seems he flats wide and open limps maybe 60%. Post he is sticky and will chase in position. Might bluff at spots.
CO I've seen play very solid TAG but it seems he's switched up to being loose passive tonight for whatever reason.
My image is TAG, don't think these*two guys really pay much attention to me though.
8 handed
1-2 + $2 btn ante, $300 eff stacks
Hero makes*it $12*with JcJd UTG+1 (my standard here is typically 8 but I upped it because ante tonight and people call anyways)
LJ flats
CO flats
Blinds fold
Flop: $41
3c5c7c
Hero bets $25
LJ Calls quickly
CO Call
Turn 6h*$116
Hero bets $75
LJ Calls quickly again
CO tanks for longest I've ever seen a player think then calls. Host called clock on him and he took full time.
River 8d $341
Hero checks with intention of calling?
I'm putting LJ on missed AcX or KcX that he might bluff with. It seems to me that CO was agonizing over a weak pair and/or draw situation and was thinking if his outs are clean or pair good cuz LJ kept making the price sweet for him. I just don't see worse paying off... and if CO bets big or raises I'll be pretty sure he got there or was Hollywooding the turn.
Comments on sizing and all streets welcome.
Preflop: cool
Flop: bet bigger. Or even check. See what a turn brings.
Turn: this isn’t a good turn for us. Straights get there. Two pairs get there. Flushes have been there. This is way too big of a pot for one pair.
River: id check fold. It’s a big ask to think one will turn a pair into a bluff here
Edit: when he bets a stupid size like that on the river and we can call closing the action, then calling seems ok actually.
