Hero: ($160 BB) 20s African American female. Starting to play poker regularly but still learning. New to the table.

Villain ($550UTG)50ish Russian man. Doesn't speak English well. He won two big pots prior to this hand no showdown.

8 handed table. 4 limpers. Hero is in BB with J J and makes it $12

Villain 1 calls

Flop ($28) is 10 7 6

Hero makes it $24

Villain reraises on top $86 ($110)

Hero????

Honestly usually when a villain reraises and bludgeon the pot, I feel that this means they could have nothing and hoping I wontshove. Would like thoughts on all streets

What was the action like on the other big pots that were won before showdown? Is V consistently winning by making large bets? I realize you're new to the table but any information is better than no information.

I like a larger pre-flop raise. What is the standard open? At my local 1/2 it's more like 10-12 standard with some smaller or larger on occasion. We are out of position and there are 4 limpers so I would go 16-18 here but we got the result we wanted which is heads up. The flop bet is aggressive, I may have gone a tad smaller but it is draw heavy so I'm ok with sizing up if you want. We also got a pretty good flop for JJ. V should have opened TT pre himself so we are really only losing to 66, 77, 67, and 89. In my opinion V has many more drawing hands and pair plus draw hands than he has hands that beat us since both the straight and flush draws are possible. Also if V is that strong this size raise could limit his value. I tend to rip it in here has we only have $38 behind the call.

Preflop is too small with 4 limpers. I'd make it $17 or $20.

As played pre, I'd probably just jam and prey. Don't think we can fold.

All you can eat, Baby!

In other words, JAM NOW!

In less flamboyant lingo, you have an overpair on a draw heavy flop with just a bit more than a pot size stack remaining after the raise. Unless he is a known nit who won't raise draws on the flop, you have to get it in.
