1/2, $187 effective, 9 handed. Hero has only played with villain once. Villain is pretty fishy (called hero's 3 bet with QTo, consistently limps awful hands.) Hero played a hand where villain x-r bluffed huge on flop with air on a super dry board, then gave up on turn in the only session we had.

OTTH

Loose passive limps UTG +2, hero raises A J $12 HJ, unknown calls SB, villain calls BB.

Flop ($38): A T 4. SB checks, BB leads $35, hero calls, SB folds.

Turn ($108): 8. Villain bets $70 with $70 behind. What's the plan going forward?

Without better evidence that villain can make terrible bluffs I let this go. You represented a strong hand preflop and on flop and villain is continuing. Your hand isn't quite as good as you represented and a call commits you to the pot.

You will be shown a bluff here sometimes but only against the most spazzy bluffers is it worth calling off. If you do want to call you are better off shoving turn, a flush draw is a good part of his range here.

This V is fully capable of playing a weak Ace from the BB. So we can assume he flopped two pair or we can assume he’s willing to go all the way with his FDs. He’s holding way more FDs than aces up so the math kinda dictates we Shove. If he’s got A4 we have some outs.

If you were 200bb deep I would suggest folding.

Either fold or shove. Most players on draws don't make ~PSB. If bluffing, might be shoving turn rather than ~2/3 pot.

I'd lean fold and look for a better spot.

Very easy turn shove vs. this guy. I would have raised the flop, but once I call, it's to shove this basically blank turn. Of course, he'll show up with T8

I elected to shove, villain of course called, and had AT. This villain is going to be annoying to play against with balanced bluffs and value bets as leads and x-r.
